In Publication Studio, a course taught at UT Austin, I was introduced to the world of bookbinding and letterpress, and I am now enamored. Below is an example of a print created by digitally collaging images, etching the image into MDF, and printing it via letterpress. The second image is a modified version of the original image, where I physically altered the block of MDF by cutting it into the shape of Travis County—also printed via letterpress.
